New Layout

January 5, 2010

Seems like I hardly ever get time to just scrapbook anymore, but I finally managed to get this page finished up tonight, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. The photos are of myself and my two sisters, taken a couple months ago during a scrapbooking weekend in Banff. The layout uses Page in a Pinch 46 and Time for Family Mini Kit.

A new tutorial for the new year

January 3, 2010

Happy New Year everyone! I hope everyone had a great holiday season. I decided to take a little time off to relax so you haven’t heard too much from me lately, but I also did some computer upgrading during that time, including lots of new memory (fabulous!) an upgrade to Window 7 (working good so far) and upgrading my Photoshop Elements to version 8.

I decided to start off the new year with a new tutorial; this one shows you how to quickly add a border to your photos. You can make the border white to look like the border the photo labs put on your photos, or a color to look like your photo is matted on colored cardstock.

The YouTube version of the movie is below, or you can click here to download a high resolution version. Enjoy!

Back from holidays with Friday Dollar Deals and a new free template

December 10, 2009

It’s been a while since I’ve posted, as we have been on holidays. We had a fabulous 11 night cruise in the Caribbean (hopefully I’ll be posting some vacation layouts soon), and it sure was a shock to come home to Calgary and all the snow we have here. But at the same time, it’s good to get back into routine, and part of that routine is Friday Dollar Deals and your weekly template freebie!

First the deals. This week you can pick up the papers, elements and ribbons from Home for the Holidays for just $1 each. These kits are large, with 15 papers, 40 elements and 24 ribbons. Click on each preview to pick up the kits in my store.

Also on sale for just $1 is my new set of Christmas Glitter Stickers.

And now for your template freebie. [This template has been moved to my store. Click on the preview to visit the store.] Have a great weekend!

And I have another template freebie for you as well, and happy haunting! [This template has been moved to my store.]
