A Haunting We Will Go

October 25, 2008

Ready for a little Halloween spookiness?  My latest kit, A Haunting We Will Go, is full of rich Halloween colors, bejeweled creatures and haunting fun.  You can purchase the full kit, just the papers or just the elements, and it’s 50% off this week at ScrapDish.  Previews are below, and clicking on the images will take you to my store.  Also, don’t forget to scroll down to the bottom of this post to grab the quickpage freebie!  Happy haunting everyone!

Here’s a page I created with the kit, using the Week 40 Sketchabilities template by Hetty deBoer at Divine Digital.

And finally, the freebie quickpage.  Click on the image to download the page.  Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving!

October 13, 2008

Happy Thanksgiving to all the Canadians out there!

I have a quick tip for you today.  If you are using your brush or eraser in Photoshop Elements, and need to adjust the size of the brush as you work, rather than typing in the number of pixels or using the slider bar, just use the square brackets on your keyboard.  The [ key makes your brush or eraser smaller, and the ] key makes your brush bigger.  Much quicker and easier to do on the fly as you work.

I’d also like to share a page I created using my most recent kit, “If Today Were Spring“.

Two new paper packs and another video tutorial

May 27, 2008

I’ve just released two new paper packs, this time they’re wonderfully rich textured solids; Jewel Tones and Pretty Pastels. Each pack includes 10 12″x12″ papers at 300dpi.  They’re 40% off for the remainder of the week, along with all my other paper packs, which you can grab in my Scrapdish store.

And, since I’m focusing on paper this week, I also have another video tutorial for you!  This one shows you how to combine photographs with digital scrapbook paper to create your own custom background.  You can download the high resolution version here, or watch it below.  Enjoy!

This page shows the background created during the video tutorial.

The Joy of Grandchildren

Products used: Paper from Pretty Pastels, flowers from Perfect Paper Flowers, jewels from Pin on Some Bling!

Finally had a little time to scrap

May 12, 2008

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day!  I got spoiled a little bit, got to relax while the housework and laundry were done for me, so I did a little scrapping.  Mother’s Day is always a little bittersweet for me now, I lost my mom four years ago to breast cancer, just a few days after Mother’s Day.  So this layout is about her, even though it doesn’t include a picture of her.

Grandma\'s Love

Products used in the layout:  Orange Blossoms Paper Pack, Build-a-Flower, Pin on Some Bling!, Dress Me Up Alphabets – Gold ‘n Glass, Spring Blooms, In Stitches.  All products by Red Leaf DigiScrapping, available at Scrapdish.

New layout

February 21, 2008

I wanted to share a layout I created for the February Template Challenge at Color Line Design:

The paper, journalling tag and fibre photo wrap are from my newest kit, Snips & Snails, which will be released in my Color Line Design store on Sunday.  The chipboard letters are from Dress Me Up Alphabets – Chipboard, also available at Color Line Design.

Don’t forget to check out all the challenges over at CLD, and just for completing 3 of them, you get a fabulously huge collab kit absolutely free!

Sneak Peak at New Products

February 9, 2008

I have a couple new products that will be released in the Color Line Design store tomorrow, so I thought I’d give you a sneak peak and share a new page with you at the same time.  The numbers are from Dress Me Up Alphabets – Oversized Chipboard, a set of versatile, plain chipboard letters and numbers that you can decorate any number of ways and add to your pages.  The paper flowers adorning the numbers are from Perfect Paper Flowers, a set of 10 that coordinate perfectly with the colors in Pin on Some Bling!   The papers are from a kit still in progress, hopefully I’ll be releasing it in the next couple weeks.  Have a great weekend!
