I’ve decided to leave my sale at Divine Digital running for one more day, so if you missed it on the weekend, it’s still not too late. Pop over and check out the deals!
Wow, I had great response to the last video tutorial, and there were a few questions in some of the comments that were left, so I thought I’d answer them here.
Q: What a great tutorial! Wonderful for newbie scrappers! Mind if I link to your blog (not the video) so others can come see it?
A: Absolutely! Please feel free to link back to my blog, I’ve created a link on the side so visitors can easily find the tutorials.
Q: Do you have plans on making a tut on how to make safety pins look realistically pinned? I can never get those things to look as though they are going through the paper.
A: I will add this tutorial to my to-do list, watch for it to arrive soon!
Q: Can we please have the video tutorials as .pdf files as well, so we can go over and over till we get it right please !!! please !!!! please !!! Just love your tuts, they are clear and precise and easy to follow !!!
A: I would love to be able to provide the tutorials in pdf format as well, however my time is a little restricted right now. I will definitely keep that in mind for the future.
Q: Great tuorials. Wish the other tutorials could be downloaded as well. I find it more convenient to watch the movie when I am not on line. Any chance of some of those being revised to be downloaded?
A: Yes. I was thinking about doing that anyway, but knowing there’s some demand for it makes my decision easy! I will post the details as soon as the videos are ready to go.
Thanks for all your comments and feedback, I’m glad you’re getting so much out of the tutorials! Have a great day everyone!
I’m planning on offering digital scrapbooking tutorials on my blog in the very near future, and would like to get an idea of the format most people prefer (video or text with screen capture) as well as the topics that would be of most interest. Please feel free to leave me a comment, answering one or both questions. Thanks!
Do you ever look back at your early scrapbook pages, just to see how your style has changed? Just for fun, I decided to pull out my very first scrapbook page ever, made at a Creative Memories party about 10 years ago. Back then, pictures were being cut in every shape imaginable, sometimes cutting out the background altogether. Stickers were the main form of embellishment, and patterned paper was only available with any kind of selection in letter size (a challenge for a 12 x 12 scrapper like me). Here’s my first scrapbook page, I’d love to see yours!
For all you Canadians, (and even if you aren’t) I wanted to let you know about a great little magazine I found a while back. Its called Scrapbook and Cards Today, its Canadian, and best of all, its free! The magazine comes out quarterly, and the pdf version is available on-line. You can also subscribe to it, and just have to pay for the shipping. Why don’t you check it out!
Happy NSD everyone! In honor of the day, I’m giving away this pretty little freebie, a set of 6 jewelled stick pins in pretty summery colors. (The link has expired.)
