Video Tutorial – Creating Ghostly Images

I saw this idea in the latest issue of Creating Keepsakes, and with Halloween fast approaching, I thought it would be a fun video tutorial to offer.  The two photos below are what I started with, the video tutorial walks you through creating the effect in PhotoShop Elements 6, and the last image shows you my final “ghostly” photograph, after a bit more post-processing was done (actions by Pioneer Woman and texture overlay by Christian Odell) and a photo frame added.  Have fun creating your own family ghost!

Quick Tip – Saving Designer Credit Info with Your Pages

If you’ve ever had a tough time remembering what kits you pulled which papers from and who designed them, this tip could be a lifesaver for you.

Photoshop Elements 6 allows you to save a wide range of information with your file, which you can access any time you open the file.  To add your information, click on File and File Info, and the dialog box shown below will appear.  The Description screen gives you lots of space to save your kit info, as shown, and other screens allow you to save information specific to the photos, such as the camera and specific settings used, etc.
